Located in the historical and picturesque city of Hangzhou, Zhejiang University is a prestigious institution of higher education with a long history. Qiushi Academy, the predecessor of Zhejiang University, was founded in 1897 and was one of the earliest modern academies of higher learning established in China.

 The School of Economics specializes in the following research fields: Finance, New Institutional Economics, Industrial Economics, Labor Economics, International Economics (International Trade and International Investment), Public Finance, Public Economics, and etc

 We welcome applications at the ranks of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Researcher. Applicants should hold a Ph.D. in Economics at the time of appointment. Specializations in the following fields: Finance, Labor Economics, Public Finance and Taxation, Accounting and Auditing，International Trade, Industrial Organization,Urban Economics, and Chinese Economy are preferred. Researchers on other fields are also welcomed. Candidates for the Professor and Associate Professor positions are expected to have a strong record of research publications.
